Melissa A. Duffy
Melissa A. Duffy is a Managing Partner with Duffy Anderson Investment Management LLC. Before establishing Duffy Anderson Investment Management LLC with her husband, John, Melissa was First Vice President of Investments at Wachovia Securities. In 2004, while working at A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc., Melissa received the Albert Gallatin award, an award that recognized top performance among new financial consultants. In 2010, Melissa was named one of The Top 100 Independent Advisors in America by Registered Rep. Magazine, a leading financial services industry publication.* Melissa has been quoted by FinancialAdvisor.com and is often asked for feedback on best practices by LPL Financial’s home office staff. Melissa has worked in compliance, account management and trading capacities at Fidelity Investments, Charles Schwab and Rydex SGI.
Melissa graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 1995 with a degree in International Studies and Political Science. She has been registered to sell securities since December 1995. In November 2010, she was designated an Accredited Investment Fiduciary®. Melissa has served as Vice President of Public Relations for the Junior League of Portland, Maine.
Melissa was born and raised in the Portland area.
Her first "real job" was at Deering Ice Cream at the Maine Mall.
Melissa and her husband, John, have two daughters, Teagan and Maggie, and a black Labrador named Fergus.
When she isn’t working, Melissa enjoys time with her family and friends, reading, hiking and skiing.

John D. Duffy
John D. Duffy is a Managing Partner with Duffy Anderson Investment Management LLC. John was a Senior Vice President of Investments at Wachovia Securities and A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc. A member of the Chairman’s and President’s Councils, he was also recognized as an Albert Gallatin award-winner in 2004. Previous to A.G. Edwards, he served as Regional Vice President for MFS Fund Distributors in Washington, D.C.
John is a Certified Private Wealth AdvisorSM and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary®. John graduated from Dickinson College in 1995 with a degree in Political Science. He has been licensed to sell securities since 1997. John has served as a Trustee of the Greater Lovell Land Trust and currently volunteers his time at the Ronald McDonald House in Portland, Maine.
John was born and raised on Long Island, New York.
He is a dual citizen of the United States and Ireland.
He is a graduate of Chaminade High School in Mineola, NY, alma mater of Bill O’ Reilly, Brian Dennehy and Alfonse D’Amato.
John’s first "real job" was as a bus boy at Raynor’s Chicken Restaurant in Baldwin, NY.
John and his wife, Melissa, have two daughters, Teagan and Maggie. In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor pursuits such as fly fishing, running and snowboarding. John is an avid reader and he also enjoys gardening, college lacrosse and the New York Football Giants.
Matthew E.D. Daigneault
FINRA Series 7 and 66 registered through LPL Financial, Matthew E.D. Daigneault serves as Operations Manager at Duffy Anderson Investment Management LLC, assisting clients with an array of questions concerning portfolio specifics. Additionally, he offers securities trading support and brings with him over twelve years of financial services experience in investment accounting, corporate retirement plan recordkeeping and investment analysis. In May of 2011, Matthew was designated an Accredited Investment Fiduciary®.
Graduating from the University of Maine at Farmington, Matthew earned a dual degree in Economics and Geography. An outdoor enthusiast, he spends the majority of his free time in Western Maine and New Hampshire skiing, golfing and hiking. He is an active member of the non-profit Mount Washington Observatory and a supporter of Maine Audubon.
A ’Native Mainer,’ Matthew hails from Aroostook County.
His first "real job" was at G.H. Bass & Co. in Wilton, Maine.
He is an exiled fan of the Canadiens de Montreal.
